From 17 to 19 May 2023, the VNIIP – FSC VIEV hosted the International Scientific Conference "Theory and practice of parasitic disease control" dedicated to the 145th Anniversary of the birth of Konstantin I. Skryabin
The Conference was attended by 70 people. During the Plenary Session, 14 reports were heard. Following the Conference results, the participants who made reports were awarded Certificates. The Conference received 95 articles from veterinary, medical and biological research scientists from specialized scientific and medical institutions and universities of the Russian Federation (26 Regions), Belarus, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Slovakia.
By the beginning of the Conference, a collection of scientific articles was published (its electronic version can be found here) with index linking in the RSCI, CyberLeninka, CABI, and Google Academy; and assignment of ISBN and DOI.

The Presidium of the Society of Helminthologists named after K.I. Scryabin RAS, VNIIP – FSC VIEV, invite you to take part in International Scientific Conference "Theory and practice of parasitic disease control".
The Conference is scheduled for May 17-19, 2023 at 28 B. Cheremushkinskaya St., Moscow.
Proceedings of the Conference "Theory and practice of parasitic disease control" will be published with indexing in the RSCI and assigning DOI.
For the purpose of the program to be developed in due time and Conference proceedings to be prepared for publication, please submit articles in due form as requested by or before February 28, 2023 to e-mail conference@vniigis.ru.
The Conference registration fee (includes the cost of a book of reports) is RUB 1,500. The form of payment is bank wire transfer. A scan of the payment receipt is sent along with abstracts to e-mail conference@vniigis.ru.
An Application for placement of copyright materials completed in handwriting must be sent in the form of a scanned copy to the Organizing Committee’s e-mail conference@vniigis.ru.

From May 18 to May 20, 2022, the VNIIP – FSC VIEV hosted International Scientific Conference "Theory and practice of parasitic disease control" dedicated to the 90th Anniversary of the All-Union Institute of Helminthology.
The Conference was attended by 70 people. Twenty three reports were heard during the plenary session. Following the results of the Conference, the participants who delivered reports were awarded Certificates. The Conference received 89 Articles from veterinary, medical and biological scientists from specialized scientific and medical Institutions and Universities of the Russian Federation (25 Regions), Belarus, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan.
By the beginning of the Conference, a collection of scientific articles was published (its electronic version can be found here) with indexing in the RSCI, CyberLeninka, CABI, and Google Academy; and assigning ISBN and DOI.
A Resolution was adopted at the final meeting of the Conference.

In 2022, the All-Russian Research Institute for Fundamental and Applied Parasitology of Animals and Plant - FSC VIEV celebrates its 90th Anniversary. The USSR People's Commissariat for Agriculture’s Order No. 3 established the All-Union Institute of Helminthology (VIG) on April 07, 1932. Thanks to this document, the first independent scientific institution in helminthology came into being which has been developing and deepening fundamental and applied issues of parasitology to this day.

At the XXIII Russian Agricultural Exhibition "Golden Autumn-2021", following the results of the competition "For the development, production and introduction of effective drugs and medicines for veterinary use, high efficiency of animal epidemic countermeasures on the territory of the constituant entities of the Russian Federation, elimination, treatment of infectious and non-contagious animal diseases, popularization of the veterinary profession in the region" in the nomination "For contribution to the popularization of the profession, vocational guidance, preservation of traditions and history of veterinary medicine in the region", FSC VIEV was awarded a gold medal and diploma for periodic printed publication "Russian Journal of Parasitology".

The International Scientific Conference "Theory and practice of parasitic disease control" was held at the VNIIP - FSC VIEV from 19 to 21 May 2021.
Forty five participants attended the Conference. Thirteen reports were presented during the plenary session. As a result of the Conference, the participants delivering their reports were awarded Certificates.
