The scientific Council ASR Institute of Parasitology named after K.I. Skryabin

To coordinate research activities, discuss results and prospects of development of the Institute on the rights of Advisory body the scientific Council is formed, composed of researchers and specialists of the Institute. The academic Council may include leading scientists and specialists working in the Institute.


The academic Council considers issues related to the main directions of scientific activity of the Institute:

- discusses plans for scientific research work and publishing activity of the Institute, reports on research work, creates the editorial Board for the preparation of scientific publications;

- hears reports of the Institute's employees and invitees on the most significant and urgent problems related to the activities of the Institute;

- considering the results of scientific work of the scientific divisions of the Institute, where necessary, consider reports of the heads of temporary research teams and working groups;

- considers the structure of the Institute, the scientific cooperation of the Institute with other scientific organizations and educational institutions;

- propose the appointment or dismissal of heads of departments of the Institute;

- assesses qualifications of the scientific staff of the Institute, considers the issues of skills development, the training of scientific personnel through postgraduate and doctoral studies, hears the reports of postgraduate and doctoral students, approves the dissertation topics;

- in established order to consider the assignment of academic statuses and take appropriate decisions;

- considers other issues within its competence.

The composition of the scientific Council of the Institute approved by FANO of Russia on the proposal of the Director of the Institute.
