XVIII All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference in Memory of Professor V.A. Romashov, “Current Issues of General and Applied Parasitology
On 23–24 October 2025, the XVIII All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference in Memory of Professor V.A. Romashov, “Current Issues of General and Applied Parasitology,” was held in the Voronezhsky Nature Reserve. The event was attended by scientists, experts from research institutes, teachers, and young researchers from various Russian regions. .
The Branch Head, Doctor of Veterinary Sciences, Professor of the Russian Academy of Sciences Mikhail V. Arisov gave a report.
The Conference presented and discussed academic reports on key areas of modern parasitology, including:
- fauna, ecology, and biology of parasites,
- natural focal parasitosis,
- epizootology and epidemiology of parasitosis,
- current issues in pathogenesis, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of parasitosis.
Participants exchanged research results, discussed current industry challenges and modern methods to control parasitic diseases, and outlined prospects for further scientific collaboration.
The Conference emphasized the importance of preserving the scientific legacy of Professor V.A. Romashov and carrying on his traditions in the development of Russian parasitology.
