The laboratory conducts research on the spread of arachnoentomoses in animals and birds (tick-borne diseases).
New insectoacaricide drugs are developed, preclinical and clinical trials carried out, normative-technical documentations for new drugs (technical conditions, factory standards, instruction for use, process regulations) are created at the laboratory.
New methods for laboratory assessment of efficacy of insectoacaricide drugs (knockdown effect, repellent and residual activity repellent activity etc.) are developed. Current measures of struggle and prevention against dangerous insects and ticks are improved.
