Summary

It was found that Troichatka Premium was poorly effective against O. felineus infection in rabbits. Viable adult O. felineus specimens were isolated from gallbladder. One noted rheological changes of bile composition and structural alterations in the macroscopic organ wall. Following application of biltricide viable parasites were not found in the gallbladder and common bile duct. On week 1 post treatment by both agents it was recorded healing of skin erosive lesions. However post application of Troichatka Premium hair coat of animals recovered only partially whereas post biltricide treatment - completely. One not recommended application of Troichatka Premium for treatment of O. felineus infection because of its low efficiency.
