CRYPTOSPORIDIUM INFECTION OF SWINE AS MONO- AND MIXED INFECTION IN THE MORDOVIA REGION

Summary

The obtained results showed that Cryptosporidium infection prevalence among adult swine and youngsters at "Mordovia bacon" was higher in the latter and constituted 63,5 and 44,9% respectively as while Trichocephala infection rates were lower (in piglets 16% and elder pigs 19,4%). The infection rates among pigs at the farms of common type were 40,3%.
