Summary

Molecular identification of Longidorus elongatus specimens from the rhizosphere of spirea and black currant plants growing in the Taldom Area district of the Moscow Region was conducted for the first time. Molecular identification was used simultaneously with morphological identification based on a polytomous key. Morphological identification of Longidorus elongatus was confirmed by comparison of nucleotide sequences deposited in GenBank with those obtained in the study.
