SANITARY-PARASITOLOGICAL AND EPIZOOTOLOGICAL ASPECTS OF TOXOCARA CANIS INFECTION IN THE REPUBLIC OF ALTAI

Summary

One investigated the sanitary-parasitological and epizootological peculiarities of T. canis infection in the Republic of Altai. The results of coproovoscopic examination of dogs, sanitary-parasitological testing of soil, water of open reservoirs and production of plant origin confirmed the high incidence of T. canis infection in that region. Based on the obtained data and existing standards the Republic of Altai in respect of epidemic hazard of environment (soil) could be attributed to the category of “moderately hazardous” territory.
